RWE and Saitec initiate DemoSATH Lab to study environmental impacts of Basque floating offshore wind project.

RWE and Saitec have launched the DemoSATH Lab initiative to conduct enhanced environmental monitoring studies around the DemoSATH floating offshore wind project off the Basque coast. The studies will focus on the impact on bird life, underwater noise emissions, and interactions between marine life and the wind turbine structure, with the research set to continue until at least the end of 2025.
