A Protestant man settled a religious discrimination case against Bittles Bar in Belfast for £6,500, following allegations that the bar owner told him, "we don't serve Protestants." The man claimed he was "embarrassed and felt intimidated" by the comments, which were reported as a hate crime to the PSNI. The bar owner, John Bittles, has since apologized for any upset and distress caused.
