Valaris secures a $498m multi-year contract for its drillship, VALARIS DS-17, with Equinor Energy do Brasil, a subsidiary of Equinor ASA. The contract involves work on Project Raia offshore Brazil, with project partners Repsol Sinpoec Brazil (35%) and Petrobras (30%). The drilling program is set to commence in the first half of 2026 and has a total estimated duration of 852 days, including a 672-day drilling program and a 180-day standby period.
