A study has found that prenatal marijuana use is linked to serious risks for the mother, including increased risks of gestational hypertension (17%) and preeclampsia (8%). The research, based on electronic health records of 316,722 early-stage pregnancies, highlights the need for caution when considering marijuana use during pregnancy.
