Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim commits to expedite the implementation of the Syariah Judges' Remuneration Act to dignify the status of Syariah Court judges in Malaysia. The matter has gained the government's attention to balance the Syariah Judicial Service Scheme and the Civil Judicial Service Scheme. Sabah has become the second state in Malaysia to establish a Syariah Supreme Court as the fourth tier.
