Clark County enforces immediate recreational fire ban due to extreme fire danger, adding to the July 5 outdoor burning prohibition. The Washington State Department of Natural Resources has banned all outdoor burning, charcoal briquettes use, and prescribed burns on all state forest lands, parks, and DNR-protected areas until further notice. The ban is a preventative measure against grass or brush fires resulting from escaped campfires.
