The St Laurence and Eastwood Action Group received grant funding to tackle fly-tipping and overflowing bins at Rochford Road flats in Southend. Covert cameras will be installed and anti-flytipping posters put up to help catch those responsible and reduce the problem. According to Mark Flewitt, a former councillor and action group member, covert camera work will begin in August.
