Walsall Council is taking action against fly-tipping on Nottingham Drive by implementing new measures such as daily inspections, warning signs and larger bins for residents. The council took ownership of the land, which had been used for constant dumping of rubbish, and improved it with a new car park and road surfacing. Despite enforcement investigations last year and warnings being issued, repeated incidents of fly-tipping have still occurred.
