45-year-old naturist Stuart Gilmour was caught painting a house 26ft up a ladder, naked aside from his boots, when a police officer arrived. Maria Goodey, the house owner, had already informed neighbours of Stuart's unconventional techniques with a note. After climbing down the ladder, Stuart explained to the giggling officer that he had permission from Maria to be nude, and the officer wished him well and left.
