Tenor Alfie Boe launched the Alfred Robert Boe rose in memory of his late father to benefit Brain Tumour Research at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.
Alfie Boe, a tenor and musical theatre star, launched a rose in memory of his late father to raise funds for brain tumour charity Brain Tumour Research. His father died from the disease in 1997, and Boe, a patron of the charity, expressed frustration at the lack of developments in treatments in over 30 years. The rose, named the Alfred Robert Boe rose, was launched at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.
