Australia establishes committees for its Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) and National Health and Medical Research Council's (NHMRC) Medical Research Endowment Account (MREA), aiming to enhance collaboration between key government funders in health and medical research. The new committees will work on aspects including consumer involvement, industry and philanthropic involvement, and research in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, with the goal of improving Australia's research capability and addressing future health challenges.
