Mississippi probation officer, Lacosta Lee, has been arrested on seven counts of embezzlement, accused of misusing court-ordered fines and fees from individuals on probation for personal gain. As a contracted probation officer for Court Programs, Inc., Lee received a $7,558.50 demand letter upon her arrest. Conviction could result in up to $5,000 in fines and 20 years in prison for each count.
