Former City Clerk Pamela McNutt was arrested for embezzling money from November 2017 to April 2021, including payments to the city's water and sewage, court fines, and privileged license payments. She was served a $282,714.58 demand letter and faces up to 20 years in jail if convicted. State Auditor Shad White praised the efforts of investigators and prosecutors.
