Royal Mail has surpassed its 25% waste reduction target by 2030, reducing waste by 27% and saving 2,000 tonnes in 2021. The company achieved this through replacing single-use cardboard trolley sleeves with reusable, in-house designed versions that last up to four years. The initiative is part of Royal Mail's Steps to Zero strategy, aiming for Net-Zero by 2040 and a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030.
