Northamptonshire Police Chief, Nick Adderley, is facing a gross misconduct hearing for allegedly exaggerating his naval service, rank, length of service, and lying about his brother's Falklands War service. Adderley claimed to have received a South Atlantic Medal (SAM) from his brother, but the Ministry of Defence medal office expert testified that the medal was fake. The hearing resumed after a three-week break, and a decision is expected soon.
