2021 MLB season: Reds, Brewers, and Nationals lead in stolen base totals, on pace to surpass 2007 Mets' record of 200 steals in a season.

Reds, Brewers, and Nationals are on pace to post the highest stolen-base totals in MLB since the 1990s, surpassing the 2007 New York Mets' record of 200 steals in a single season. Rule changes implemented last year are helping the teams spur the running game, with Cincinnati leading the way with 107 steals and an on-pace of 234, followed by the Brewers and Nationals with 104 and 101 steals respectively.
