Instagram is serving sexual content to teens' feeds, even when they're as young as 13, according to a Wall Street Journal investigation in partnership with Northeastern University professor Laura Edelson. After creating new accounts with an age of 13, they found that sexual videos began appearing within three minutes, and after 20 minutes, Reels users' feeds were filled with posts from online sex workers. This issue was not observed on Snapchat or TikTok.
