Ghana signed a $12B deal with TCP-UIC Consortium for the initial phase of its Petroleum Hub project in Jomoro Municipal Area, Western Region. This project aims to make Ghana a West African energy trading hub, accelerate its petroleum downstream growth, and create over 780,000 jobs by 2036 via a $60B, 3-phased plan including a 300,000 bpd refinery, petrochemical plant, 3M cubic meters storage, jetty, and port infrastructure.
