Ghana's NPA explores Dangote Refinery imports to reduce $400M monthly fuel costs from Europe.

Ghana's National Petroleum Authority, led by Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, is exploring the import of petroleum products from Nigeria's Dangote Refinery to cut its $400 million monthly fuel import costs from Europe. The refinery, anticipated to reach full capacity of 650,000 barrels per day by early 2025, could provide a more economical source of fuel, reducing freight expenses and potentially lowering domestic prices.
