EACOP's Thermal Insulation Plant commissioned in Tanzania's Nzega district for Ugandan crude oil pipeline.

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project has reached a significant milestone with the commissioning of its Thermal Insulation Plant in Tanzania's Nzega district. The $4 billion pipeline will transport Uganda's crude oil from Hoima in Uganda to Tanga port in Tanzania. The plant, located at the project's midpoint, will coat around 110-117km of line pipe per month. EACOP aims to create employment opportunities and boost energy infrastructure while promoting regional cooperation in East Africa.
