Ford's secretive low-cost EV team expands, poaching 300+ employees from rivals including Rivian (50), Tesla (>20), Canoo, Lucid, and Apple's Project Titan. This comes as Ford aims to reduce EV costs and compete with Tesla and emerging Chinese EV manufacturers. The team, led by ex-Tesla engineer Alan Clarke, has also recruited two senior aerodynamicists from Formula 1.
