Ford has started mass production of its all-electric Ford Explorer at its first dedicated EV facility in Europe, Cologne Electric Vehicle Center, after a $2bn investment. The plant, equipped with AI and 600 robots, is one of Ford's most efficient vehicle assembly plants globally. Ford aims for carbon neutrality by 2035 across its European production footprint, logistics, and direct suppliers.
