DOJ to release report on Phoenix Police Department civil rights investigation after 3-year probe.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is expected to release a report on Thursday following a nearly three-year investigation into civil rights allegations against the Phoenix Police Department (PPD). The investigation, announced in August 2021, focused on use-of-force practices, discrimination, and retaliation against protesters and homeless individuals. The city of Phoenix has spent $7.5 million on the DOJ investigation.
