NSW Police continue to investigate a failed cocaine smuggling plot that led to the death of a Brazilian diver, Bruno Borges Martins, in Newcastle harbour in May 2022. A truck involved in the plot was found by the Organized Crime Squad's detectives after executing a search warrant at a property in Menangle. Two men are facing charges in court, while the location of another Brazilian diver, Jhoni Fernandes Da Silva, remains unknown.
