3 Albanian and Romanian men jailed for 8 years for retrieving €4.2m cocaine at Cork Port.
Three men, Gentjan Dodaj, Donatel Dodaj, and Daniel Afedoaei, were jailed for eight years after being caught retrieving €4.2m worth of cocaine hidden in panels of a refrigerated container truck at Cork Port. The Albanian and Romanian nationals were under surveillance by undercover gardaí, who arrested them shortly after they began removing panels containing the drugs. All three had debts that contributed to their involvement in the scheme.
