Salt Lake City's proposed 2034 Winter Olympics release a $4 billion budget estimate, with $2.84 billion for operational costs. Despite an increase of 40% in events compared to 2002, operational costs are 1% lower when adjusted for inflation. The IOC will study the numbers in July before awarding the 2034 Games.
