Lagos-Kano rail line resumes freight operations, connecting Apapa Port and Dala Inland Dry Port.
The Lagos-Kano rail line has commenced freight operations after successful trial runs moving import containers from Apapa Port in Lagos to Dala Inland Dry Port in Kano. The Federal Government announced that the railway route will create business opportunities and facilitate movement of goods between crucial regions in Nigeria. President Bola Tinubu is set to officially launch the reopening of the corridor for freight.
