San Diego County Board of Supervisors appointed Ebony Shelton as new CAO, starting June 14.

San Diego County Board of Supervisors unanimously selected Ebony Shelton, a longtime county employee, as the new chief administrative officer (CAO). Shelton, the deputy chief administrative officer/chief financial officer, will start her new role on June 14, replacing Helen Robbins-Meyer, who retired in January. Sarah Aghassi, another county veteran, has been serving as interim CAO since Robbins-Meyer's departure.
