KiwiRail temporarily reduces Kāpiti Line speed limit between Porirua and Paremata due to damaged rail and coastal erosion. Train delays of 5-10 minutes expected. Metlink adjusts timetable, cancelling 5 morning peak Porirua-Wellington services until track repairs over the weekend. Normal schedule to resume early next week after damage repair.
