New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) warns of 30-minute delays on SH1 in Selwyn District, south of Christchurch, for up to two and a half months due to significant maintenance work on the Selwyn River/Waikirikiri Bridge. Bridge lifting and pier repair work will require traffic control with Stop/Go, affecting Monday and Wednesday nights. Other nights remain unaffected.
