Wisconsin's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has introduced a voluntary option for residents to include emergency contact details in their drivers' license or ID records under the "To Inform Families First" law. The information, which will not appear on the card, will help law enforcement quickly contact a family member during emergencies, including from out-of-state police. To add emergency contact details, individuals can visit wisconsindmv.gov/emergencycontact.
