Japanese researchers developed a microwave multiplexing superconducting circuit for controlling multiple qubits in quantum computers through a single cable.

Researchers from Japan's AIST, Yokohama National University, Tohoku University, and NEC Corporation developed a superconducting circuit for controlling multiple qubits in quantum computers through a single cable using microwave multiplexing. The circuit increases the density of microwave signals per cable by about 1,000 times, potentially increasing the number of controllable qubits and aiding the development of large-scale quantum computers.
