Carbon capture rollout in Canada is slowing due to a disagreement over who should bear the financial risk for the expensive projects. So far, only one company, Entropy Inc., has successfully negotiated a deal with the federal government, with the rest still on paper. The government is investing over $90bn to help decarbonize Canadian companies, and expects industries to contribute to the projects.
