International Air Transport Association (IATA) warns that flight ticket prices are likely to rise due to worldwide inflation, high jet fuel costs (a third of airline expenses), and a global push for decarbonization in the aviation industry. This is causing more carriers to compete for limited sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The airlines will continue to do everything they can to keep costs in control for the benefit of consumers.
