The suspect, Gino Anthony Marcoccia, 49, allegedly fired a gun during the dispute and then advanced aggressively towards deputies, refusing to drop his rifle. A deputy discharged their firearm, hitting Marcoccia, who later died at the scene. Oregon State Police is investigating the incident.
