6 members of Hizb ut-Tahrir religious extremist organisation detained in Kyrgyzstan: Six members of the banned religious extremist group have been detained in southern Kyrgyzstan. The detainees were found to be actively advocating for extremist ideology and spreading it among the local population to recruit new members. Extremist literature, leaflets, mobile phones, and electronic media containing extremist content were seized from them.
