Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) cannot settle a lawsuit over the helicopter crash that killed Outback Wrangler star Chris Wilson without further expert evidence to determine responsibility. Chris Wilson's widow, Danielle Wilson, filed Federal Court proceedings against Wright's company Helibrook and CASA over the crash. CASA's lawyer, Thomas Miller, stated that there needs to be a real, appreciable risk of liability supported by evidence for the commonwealth body to offer financial settlements.
