Humanitarian aid for Gaza continues to depart Cyprus by sea, and will be held in floating storage off the enclave's coast until a US-built military pier is repaired, a Cypriot government official said. The US military temporarily removed the purpose-built jetty after a part of the structure broke off two weeks after it started operating. Despite the setback, the sea corridor remains open for aid shipments.
