The European Council has approved the EU-Kenya Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA), which grants Kenya duty-free, quota-free access to the EU market for all exports. The deal also gradually opens Kenyan markets for duty-free EU imports and investments. The agreement aims to enhance trade, create new economic opportunities, and support job creation on both sides, while promoting sustainable development, labour rights, environmental protection, and climate action.
