ECOWAS trade officials met in Abuja, Nigeria from 15-16 May 2024, to validate regional instruments to boost economic integration and trade. The 2-day meeting aimed to review, validate, and recommend trade policy instruments to the Ministers of Trade and Industry, and considered the region's participation in the 13th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC13). ECOWAS reaffirmed its commitment to economic integration and addressing current trade issues.
