EU provides €10m to the UN's World Food Programme (WFP) to expand school feeding in Afghanistan. The funding will allow WFP to distribute fortified biscuits and locally produced nutritious snacks to students in over 10,000 schools across eight provinces, including Farah, Ghor, Jawzjan, Nangarhar, Nuristan, Paktika, Uruzgan, and Zabul. This will help to combat food insecurity and encourage parental involvement in education.
