An inmate at Omaha Correctional Center allegedly assaulted an employee, causing a serious head injury. The assault resulted in a concussion for the staff member. The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services is investigating the incident and plans to discipline the inmate according to protocol, if deemed necessary.
