Rotherham grooming gang ringleader, Mohammed Imran Ali Akhtar, already serving a 23-year sentence for sexual offences against three victims between 1998 and 2005, has been sentenced to an additional 12 years for the rape of another 13-year-old girl. Akhtar admitted to raping the girl, who he plied with drugs and alcohol, between 2001 and 2003. The new sentence will run concurrently with his existing one.
