6880 Betton Grange, a newly-built steam locomotive, debuts at the Cotswold Festival of Steam.

A newly-built steam locomotive, No. 6880 Betton Grange, will transport passengers for the first time during the Cotswold Festival of Steam. Construction of the engine, using parts from other scrapped locomotives, was completed at Tyseley works in Birmingham last month. The £1.3m project, led by the Betton Grange Society, marks the first time three steam locomotives built in the 21st century will appear together in the UK.
