Locomotion has completed the movement of 46 historic rail vehicles, including steam locomotives, into a new £8m New Hall building in Shildon. This brings the site's total number of vehicles to 99, making it Europe's biggest indoor display. The move involved a complex four-week operation. Locomotion, built near the site of Shildon Works, aims to double its size with the addition of the new building.
