10 reintroduced wolves in Colorado show increased exploration in Upper Blue River and Battle Creek-Little Snake River watersheds, with most activity in Routt County.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has released its May wolf activity map, revealing increased exploration by wolves in new areas such as Upper Blue River watershed in Summit County and Battle Creek-Little Snake River watershed in Routt County, with the most activity recorded in Routt County since January. The maps track the movement of 10 wolves reintroduced in Grand and Summit counties in December. No wolf activity was detected near Red Feather Lakes, possibly connected to the death of a reintroduced wolf in Larimer County.
