Quebecor CEO Pierre Karl Péladeau urges Ottawa to intervene in an "anticompetitive" deal between Loblaw and Glentel, a telecom retailer co-owned by Rogers and Bell. El director general de Quebecor, Pierre Karl Péladeau, insta a Ottawa a intervenir en un acuerdo "anticompetitivo" entre Loblaw y Glentel, un minorista de telecomunicaciones copropiedad de Rogers y Bell. Loblaw is reportedly terminating its supply contract with Quebecor's Freedom Mobile subsidiary, ending the latter's presence at Loblaw supermarket kiosks known as the Mobile Shop. Según se informa, Loblaw está rescindiendo su contrato de suministro con la filial Freedom Mobile de Quebecor, poniendo fin a la presencia de esta última en los quioscos de los supermercados Loblaw conocidos como Mobile Shop. Péladeau claims this move is aimed at excluding some carriers in favor of Glentel and goes against consumer interests.
