Quebecor CEO urges Ottawa to intervene in Loblaw's termination of supply contract with Freedom Mobile, claiming it's anticompetitive.

Quebecor CEO Pierre Karl Péladeau urges Ottawa to intervene in an "anticompetitive" deal between Loblaw and Glentel, a telecom retailer co-owned by Rogers and Bell. Loblaw is reportedly terminating its supply contract with Quebecor's Freedom Mobile subsidiary, ending the latter's presence at Loblaw supermarket kiosks known as the Mobile Shop. Péladeau claims this move is aimed at excluding some carriers in favor of Glentel and goes against consumer interests.
