1458 RSE workers stranded in NZ due to Air Vanuatu's collapse and visa expiration.

Air Vanuatu's collapse has left 1458 RSE workers stranded in NZ with visas about to expire. The airline's liquidation has grounded flights, causing delays in passport issuance and limited airline options for employers to book return flights for these workers. Additionally, Air Vanuatu owes at least $65m, with government loans totalling almost $21m, leaving about 4000 people unable to take their scheduled flights.
