Air New Zealand has suspended its Auckland-Noumea service until September 28 due to ongoing unrest and airport closure in New Caledonia. The Nouméa-La Tontouta International Airport closed after violent riots broke out on May 13, with protest barricades blocking the main road between the airport and city. Air New Zealand customers with flights booked to New Caledonia can apply for a full refund.
