Nobel-winning Canadian author Alice Munro, celebrated for her mastery of the short story, has passed away at 92. Known for her complex and authentic storytelling, Munro's work focused on the rural Ontario countryside where she grew up, often exploring the frailties of the human condition. In 2013, Munro became the first Canadian to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, and she also won the International Booker Prize for her body of work in 2009.
